Interactive Math in K-3, Mathematics, Cherrybrook, $1,690.00
This grant is for the purchase of a Mimeo and LCD projector that will allow utilization of the National Library of Virtual Manipulatives for Interactive Mathematics website.  The Mimeo is the latest piece of equipment for classrooms.  In combination with an LCD projector, it turns a simple white board into a computer using infrared technology.  The mimeo attaches to the white board, and through a software program on the teacher's classroom computer, the teacher accesses the Internet and manipulates tests just as any computer user might.
